Remove location and other metadata before sharing

Photos can carry GPS coordinates, dates and camera details. Create a clean copy and check it.

Metadata can be sensitive

Some camera files contain timestamps, device details, comments or GPS coordinates. Absence from one parser is not proof that no unknown field exists.

Orientation comes first

The displayed orientation is applied before metadata is dropped, so the clean copy stays upright.

Redaction is separate

Removing metadata doesn’t hide visible names, faces or screens. Use Redact image for those, then inspect the download.

Remove metadata

Render a new share copy and independently inspect the result container. Free, and your image never leaves your browser.
