Check a photo against online form requirements

Forms often set a format, pixel range and file-size range. Check your photo before you upload it, then fix it in one step.

Read the requirements carefully

Note the allowed formats, minimum and maximum width and height, and minimum and maximum file size. If a size is exact, the minimum and maximum are the same.

Check before you upload

Open the Image requirement checker, add your photo and enter the rules. Each requirement shows pass or fail with the measured value, and impossible combinations — like a minimum larger than the maximum — are flagged.

Fix it, then recheck

Choose “Fix it to meet these requirements” to resize, crop or pad, convert and compress in one go. The downloaded file is measured again so you see before and after side by side.

Save the rules for next time

Name and save the requirements as a preset. Presets are stored in your browser only — never your photos.

Frequently asked questions

Does passing the checker guarantee acceptance?

No. It checks the technical rules you enter, not rules about pose, lighting or background, and it can’t speak for the organisation receiving the photo.
